Waterjet cutting will cut almost any type of material and some combinations of materials (with some machine limitations).

It allows cutting of materials that would otherwise only be manufactured using traditional machining processes or moulding processes. This means families of materials like composites (ceramic board, granite, marble, glass) organics (rubber, some plastics, foams, timber) which could not be lasercut can now be profiled by a method other than a traditional machining process
